Highland Junior High School begins its 14th year with a community of dedicated educators, parents and students. Together, we continue to create a positive, accepting, and respectful atmosphere for all students to succeed. Through the interaction of all .... excellence, leadership, and life-long learning is promoted as a goal. Community involvement becomes a possibility through parent membership in our Parent Teacher Resource Organization. We welcome your student to Highland Junior High School, home of the Hurricanes.

Announcements

  • Open enrollment applications for 2013-2014 are due by February 1st. This date has changed from the previous April 15th date. Any current open enrollment student attending Highland Junior will not need to resubmit an application for 2013-3014.

    Students accepted for open enrollment will automatically continue their open enrollment status at Highland Junior unless the student withdraws or any open enrollment criteria is violated (grades, attendance and behavior issues).
