Dear Parents,

As this school year comes to an end, I want to thank all of the parents, family members, interns and neighbors for their numerous volunteer hours of dedicated service to our students, teachers and school environment. Your time investment, whether it is here at school or in working with your children at home, is one of the most important assets we have as a school. This will be even more important in the school years to come, as budget constraints will impact instructional aide support in the classrooms, in the lunchroom, and on the playground. If you are able to help out in any of these areas, please complete the bottom portion of this letter and send it in to the office. A special congratulations and a big thank you to the 2nd-6th grade students, teachers, staff and yourself for your efforts during our SAT10/AIMS testing weeks. For the first time our attendance rate was 100% during testing week.

Enrollment for next school year is ongoing, so please help us spread the word and encourage others to come in soon and register for next year’s kindergarten – 6th grade classes. Registering before the school year is out for the summer helps us plan for and retain current staffing for the upcoming year.

In an effort to save money we will continue to post our newsletter online. Also, please provide the office with your email address, which will give us an efficient and “green” way to communicate with all of you. Thank you for a wonderful year!
