Technology Services

Technology Repair maintains all equipment in the District so that it may benefit a student’s education and make an employee’s job easier. The department has two sections: Computer Repair and Audio/Video Repair. Staff members submit technology repair issues to the Help Desk, and depending on the problem, the Repair Manager routes the problem to the appropriate section and will respond within 24 hours.

The Computer Repair Section maintains all computers and peripherals district wide, including Macintosh and Windows. They also maintain and repair local and networked printers, plus handle both hardware and software issues and minor networking problems.

The Audio/Video Repair Section repairs all school Audio and Video equipment. They include items such as: Televisions, VCR and DVD Players, Boom-boxes, Overhead Projectors, LCD projectors, and cameras. The section also maintains the School’s Media Distribution Systems. We design our own Media Distribution Systems and install them during system upgrades.

GPS computer technicians have either A+ or Apple Certifications. Technology Repair is an Apple Authorized Service Provider and a Gateway Authorized Service Center.
