I would like to welcome you to South Valley Junior High, the home of the Sabercats!!! Since the opening of South Valley in 2004 we have established a tradition of excellence. The South Valley Junior High staff, students, and parents have worked together to create an environment that promotes academic success for each student. Our mission is to ensure that every student strives for academic achievement and develops good character in a nurturing community in preparation for the future. At South Valley Junior High, we challenge our students to be the best they can be. We support them in their growth academically and emotionally and provide them an environment where they can achieve success. We encourage our students and help them to realize their potential through a wide range of academic experiences and a variety of extracurricular activities. For parents that would like to become actively involved I encourage you to participate in the South Valley PTSO (Parent Teacher Student Organization). Our PTSO has worked collaboratively with the school to support a variety of activities and to create a positive learning environment. At South Valley Junior High we are very proud of our accomplishments but more excited about the future and developing our students into the leaders of tomorrow.
