Desert Ridge Counseling Department Mission Statement: The mission of the Desert Ridge High School Counseling Department is to foster the intellectual, emotional, social, andcareer development of all students. School counselors design and delivereffective curriculum, programs and services so that all students may utilizethe tools that will enable them to be responsible and productive citizens in arapidly changing world. They help students identify their abilities andinterests, strengthen their decision-making and coping skills, and develop anapproach to life that is uniquely their own.
